1985
FOUNDATION

It all begins in 1985 among the hills around Asolo, when brothers Fabio and Paolo Gallina follow up on their innovative idea of bringing the frozen cornetti produced by Forno d’Asolo to customers of restaurants and bakers around Italy.

End consumers can thus appreciate the freshness and fragrance of freshly baked pastry thanks to Forno d’Asolo.

2014
acquisition

In March 2014, a group led by 21 Investment funds acquires Forno d'Asolo with the aim of enhancing the industrial heritage and brand of the leader in Italian-made bakery products, bringing its development to the next level not only in Italy but on an international scale, as well.

2016

In March 2016, Forno d'Asolo takes over the La Donatella brand. Founded in 1946 and based in Jesolo (Ve), La Donatella is a leading Italian company specializing in the production of pastry and cakes.

2017

The new Forno d’Asolo Academy opens in Maser, an investment in cultural and professional training to support clients in learning how to successfully operate in a rapidly evolving market.

2018
acquisition

In July 2018, BC Partners, a leading alternative investment fund, acquires the majority of Forno d'Asolo, with the objective of further developing the company's leadership worldwide.
